GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY
Make it stand out.
PARK RENOVATION UPDATE THE FIRST WEEK OF MARCH
This week renovations began in our beloved Centre Park, a result of years of work by various Centre Park Historic District members. These renovations will improve lighting, replace and update vegetation, improve walkway surfaces and continue the preservation of this critical green space in the city of Reading. A fountain will be installed in the center of the Park, returning this popular water feature as the focal point of our neighborhood.
A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Monday, February 12th at 11 a.m. in the Park with City officials and all are invited to attend.
Construction will continue through May, currently the expected completion is May 9th. Delays due to weather and other factors is likely but we hope we will have access to the Park yet again by summer. The Centre Park Historic District will try our best to update everyone as we are made aware.
