Christmas House Tour & Champagne Brunch

Centre Park’s largest event of the year, The Annual Christmas House Tour and Champagne Brunch, takes place on Sunday, December 8th. Owners and neighborhood organizations will open their doors to the public to display gorgeous Victorian architecture and beautiful Christmas décor.

Start the day with Champagne Brunch where guests will dine on a delectable, gourmet array of breakfast, lunch and pastry items. Diners have the option of several seating options: 10:30 (sold out), 11:00(sold out), 11:30 (sold out),12:00, 12:30, and 1:00. With proper identification, brunch guests will also be treated to a complimentary mimosa.  A limited amount of brunch/combo tickets will be available the day of the event, but tourists are strongly encouraged to reserve in advance.

After brunch, experience Centre Park’s 35th Annual Christmas House Tour, which begins at 11am, by taking a self-guided tour through several of the most beautiful Victorian properties in the historic district. Each property has unique owners that have decorated their home impeccably for the holidays.  These homes feature incredible architecture, ornate woodwork and decorative stained glass combined with the owner’s unique décor.

A Christmas House Tour ticket also grants the holder admission to the Holiday Gift Market with an assortment of items to purchase from local vendors.  And don’t forget to stop at Centre Park Headquarters! Also decorated for the holidays, this unique building is home to the Artifacts Bank where tourists can peruse a large inventory of architectural salvage. Free refreshments will be served.

Parking is a cinch! Leave your car at the First Energy/Reading Phillies stadium parking lot at 1900 Centre Avenue/Route 61 and catch the trolley to Centre Park. This service is free for tourists.

Each stop on the tour will be open from 11am to 5pm with the exception of the churches which will open for touring at noon.

This year’s event is sponsored by East Penn Manufacturing, VIST Bank and Customers Bank.

This event is rain or shine and advance tickets are non-refundable.

All proceeds from this event benefit the Centre Park Historic District whose mission is “Enhance Neighborhood Living and To Promote Architectural Preservation.” Come visit Centre Park, a great place to call home!
